✨ NEW FEATURES

Manage Borrower Roles — Sonar now supports assigning roles beyond "Borrower," including Co-Signer/Guarantor, Non-Title Spouse, and Title Holder Only:

  • Each role controls financial modeling permissions, borrower count, DTI inclusion, TRID consumer counting, URLA generation, and MISMO 3.4 export behavior

  • Roles are assignable from the Edit Borrower and Add Borrower dialogs

  • Title Holder Only can be added and managed from the Transaction tab

  • Borrower — By default, all applicants will be assigned this role.

  • Co-Signer/Guarantor — A person who is obligated on the mortgage loan and signs the Note to help the borrower qualify, but may not live in or own the property. You will be able to add all information and pull credit.

  • Non-Title Spouse — The spouse of the borrower who is not on the loan and not on the property title, but may be included in the transaction due to marital or community property laws. You will not be able to add any Income, Asset, or REO information, but you can add Liabilities. They will not appear in the loan header.

  • Title Holder Only — A person who is on the property title (vested owner) but is not a borrower on the loan and is not obligated to repay the mortgage. You will not be able to add any Income, Asset, Liability, REO, or Credit/PLL information for a Title Holder Only borrower.

🛠️ IMPROVEMENTS

  • Moved title information to the Transaction tab for easier access

  • Updated the Renewal Schedule table with a proper header and full-width alignment

  • Loan imports now reject files containing duplicate IDs, preventing data integrity issues

🐛 BUG FIXES

  • Fixed Total Loan Amount rounding so calculations match the lender's Closing Disclosure to the penny

  • Fixed the Loan API returning unrounded loan amounts instead of whole dollar values

  • Fixed Bulk Download and Merge document buttons not appearing for certain user roles

  • Resolved an issue where originator details could not be retrieved for certain user and company combinations

  • Fixed Real Estate Owned records becoming unlinked from the subject property on duplicated loans, which could prevent MISMO exports

  • Fixed the Get Loan API not returning lien position data for refinance and purchase transactions

  • Fixed Loan Worksheet escrow section using partial months instead of total months escrowed
