Your disclosures and compliance timers behave exactly as if a team member entered the date in Sonar.

Loan Status & Date Syncing

Receiving Updates for Existing Loans: To start receiving updates from UWM:

Add the UWM Loan Number in the Attributes tab.
Updates will automatically sync from that point forward.

Note: Loans sent from Sonar using Send Loan to UWM are linked automatically — no additional steps are required to enable event tracking.

Progress statuses advance the loan by setting the matching key date. Your overall loan status stays under your control:

If UWM clears a date on their side, Sonar clears the matching key date. Updates Sonar doesn't recognize are safely ignored.

Borrower milestone emails are off by default for UWM-driven updates. Contact [email protected] if you'd like borrowers notified as UWM advances the loan.

One-click application transfers

Use Sonar's "Send Loan to UWM" button to send loan applications to UWM's EASE portal.
During send, select the correct UWM broker shop (entity, branch, and contact) the loan should be filed under.
Once sent, you can navigate to the EASE portal to complete registration.

Key Details to Know:

Multiple Submissions: You can send the same loan file more than once, but each submission creates a new, unique loan in UWM.
No Updates After Submission: Changes made in Sonar after submission are not automatically re-sent to UWM. Status and date syncing (above) keeps Sonar updated going forward.

How to set up the integration?

Adding the Integration to your Sonar Account

The UWM integration is enabled for your company by Sonar. Once it's turned on:

Navigate to Sonar's Settings > Integrations tab.
Open the UWM connection and enter your UWM Username and Password (your remaining credentials are pre-configured).
Make sure Sync data from UWM is enabled — this is on by default and powers the status/date syncing above.

Note: UWM recommends that all LO's use their own credentials.

How do I get access to this integration?

Where do I find my UWM Loan Number?
1. It's the loan number shown in UWM's EASE portal. Loans sent through Send Loan to UWM are linked for you; for loans created directly in UWM, add the number on the loan's Attributes tab.
I already registered a loan in UWM's portal. How do I receive updates?
1. Add UWM's Loan Number in the Attributes tab. Updates will sync from that point forward.
What if my updates aren't syncing?
- Verify the UWM Loan Number is entered correctly in the Attributes tab.
- Confirm Sync data from UWM is enabled on the connection.
- Confirm the loan isn't archived.
Will my borrower be notified on status changes?
1. Only if milestone emails are enabled for UWM (off by default). Email [email protected] to turn them on.
