The primary borrower can add one or more co-borrowers to your application. Each co-borrower then signs in and completes their own part.

Adding co-borrowers

Within the Co-borrower step , you will be prompted with 3 options.Add co-borrower myself, Invite co-borrower or No, thank you. You can add more than one co-borrower, and edit or remove them from your list.

Adding them yourself or inviting them

  • Add co-borrower myself.

    • You're asked Is this a joint application with [name]?

    • Do you agree to share personal and financial information with [name]

      • If you answer yes to both, you enter their details for them. Otherwise, they're invited and fill in their own details.

  • Invite co-borrower. Your co-borrower fills in their own details.

Submitting and signing

  • Each borrower submits their own part. After you submit, you'll see how many other borrowers still need to submit theirs

  • Each borrower also has their own Sign disclosures step.

  • Some steps, like choosing your loan and scheduling closing, are completed by the primary borrower.

FAQs

Why can't I fill in my co-borrower's application?

  • You can only fill in the application of a co-borrower you added with Add co-borrower myself, on a joint application with you, after answering Yes to sharing. You can do this for one co-borrower only. Anyone else completes their own application.

How do I remove a co-borrower?

  • Only the primary borrower can. In the Co-Borrowers step, click the trash icon next to their name, then click Yes, remove. They lose access to the application.

Why does my loan show "Co-Borrower" in My Loans?

  • That tag shows your role on that loan. If you're the primary borrower, no tag appears.
