Sometimes, you may have a loan that you no longer want to appear in the system. Archiving a loan will allow you to remove it from active views, without removing it entirely. Once a loan is archived you can also choose to delete it.
Note: This option is only available to users with Originator or Administrator privileges. Users without these privileges can view archived loans but are not able to archive, delete, or restore loans themselves.
Archiving a Lead or Loan
How to Archive
To archive a loan, go to the Summary tab, then scroll down to the bottom of the Loan section. You will see an Archive Loan button.
You will be asked to confirm. After confirming, the loan will be listed as archived.
Note: Originators may only archive loans that have not yet reached the Application Submitted stage.
How to Restore an archived lead/loan
Once a lead or a loan is archived the Archive button is replaced with a Restore Loan button.
Click this button to restore the loan from the archive to its original state.
Effects of Archiving
Archived leads/loans will no longer appear in any active pipeline view. Once a loan is archived the loan will not be included in any calculations for call reports.
Viewing Archived Loans
To view or access an archived lead/loan, type the borrower's name into the search bar or go to the Pipeline view.
By default, archived loans are hidden from pipeline views. However, you can choose to filter for only archived loans by using the Current/Archived toggle.
Clicking Archived will change the display to only show archived loans.
Deleting a Loan or a Lead
Once a loan has been archived, the option to delete it becomes available.
โ ๏ธ Deleting a loan will remove it from the system entirely - use caution when using this feature!
To delete a loan, go to the Summary tab, and scroll down to the bottom of the Loan section (the same place the Archive button was located). Click Delete Loan.
You will be prompted to confirm.
