This article will outline how to assign/remove loan officers and processors to the loan team.
Manually adding Loan Officers and Processors
To assign a loan officer to a loan, go to the loan, then click Contacts.
Click on Loan Team, then click Add to Loan Team.
Type in the name of the LO or Processor you wish to assign, then click Add Team Members.
Updating the Loan Officer or Processor to Primary
To make the new LO the primary, click on the meatball menu to the right side of their entry, then click Update to Primary.
A primary loan officer will always be required to be on the loan - you cannot remove a primary LO or a primary processor.
Automatically Assigning Loan Officers
Sonar can automatically assign processors and originators to new loans. Sonar will distribute new loans among LOs using the "Distribution Factor" to determine how many loans go to each LO.
Go to Settings, then Users and Permissions.
Find the user you wish to assign loans, and click on their name. Then click Edit in the top right.
The "Distribution Factor" controls what percentage of applications that processor will be assigned to. A higher percentage means more loans will go to that LO. LOs will only be assigned to a loan if they are licensed in the state for that loan.
Note: Only users with the Originator or Processor role have Distribution Factor listed in their settings. Administrators and Users will not be assigned to loans.
