Note: Only users with administrator privileges can add or edit state licenses.

In order to use Sonar, you must first indicate the state(s) where you and your team can legally work. This is done both on a company-wide level and for individual LOs.

Company-Wide

First, go to settings (the icon shaped like a gear), then Company Settings.

Scroll down to the bottom and you will find State Licenses. To add or remove a state, click Edit.

This will open a new dialogue window, with a list of all the states currently listed as licensed. You can add license numbers to these states, and delete them if needed.

Depending on how many states you are licensed for, you may need to scroll down to the end, where there is a dropdown of all the currently unlicensed states. If you select a state it will be immediately added to the list of states.

Adding Licensed States to Originators

To add state licenses to an individual LO, go to Settings, then Users and Permissions.

On this page is a table of all users. This user table can be filtered and its columns customized, just like the pipeline. Click the User ID of the LO whose licenses you wish to add.

Clicking on that link will bring you to that user's profile page. Click Edit to bring up the Edit User dialogue box.

At the bottom of the Edit User dialogue box is a dropdown checklist of the states which have been added company-wide.

Simply check and uncheck the boxes to match the state licenses this user has.
